Not gonna miss this site, was kinda fond of the one that got deleted a couple of weeks ago but our new home is looking fantistic! www.theaphrodisiacs.co.uk



Hello everyone. The good people at 150m.com deemed our old website unsuitable so aptly delated the bugger without any warning! They say the could do so at any point (in the small print). Kinda sucks but life goes on. We should now have a brand new proper website set up in the next couple of weeks, i'll post the link for it on this site. Aye dont even know how to work this website builder but thought some text is better than hee haw!

News :
Second John Peel session due for broadcast on Radio 1 in October, to be more precise Tuesday 5th OCTOBER, keep yer ears to those trannies. Songs recorded ;

1.  TerraHawk - anyone who has not seen us play live will be surprised when they hear this tune as it is unlike any of our other songs... it's a beast!

2. The Tomorrow People - a special version of this album track, got an extended ending which worked out pretty well, lasts nearly 6mins compared to album length of 3 and half. This is the way we would have liked the song to sound on the album if it had been recorded in a proper studio

3. The hour is late but please consider - again an alternative version to an album track, alot more relaxed with acoustics and stuff.

4. Do you remember the first? - Pulp. Our first ever attempt at a cover. Not sure if we do it justice, perhaps should have chosen a song which we did not love so much, we'll learn. Could go two ways, people could enjoy it (fingers crossed) or Pulp fans could be sending us death threats!

ALBUM NEWS :

Debut album "THis Is A CAmpaign" due for release through Edinburgh label SL Records (www.slrecords.net) in October. Keep checking your local record shop, should be availible online through Amazon, play etc to so check there as well
